commissions

A commissioned painting or drawing makes a wonderful personal gift for a special occasion...or for a special person. Just contact me with your requirements and to negotiate a price and time-frame. Leave the rest up to me. The work will be completed and delivered to yourself or to a delighted recipient.

painting & drawing workshops

I teach occasional workshops for different organisations as I am enthusiastic about my craft and enjoy the company of the participants.

If you would like to attend a workshop, contact me, or organise a small group yourself (for individual attention, workshop numbers are restricted to 5).

Painting/drawing workshops can be held at my studio at Tui Glen... a beautiful property tucked away in rural Horowhenua with a selection of wonderful cafés nearby...
or at nearby locations - Horowhenua's fantastic reserves, coast, lakes, or Tararua range...
or workshops can be organised at a location of your preference.
You will need your own art materials...those you are familiar with and which suit your way of working.

So if you want to create your own masterpiece; shout someone deserving a relaxing, creative weekend; or just have a fun bonding activity, get in touch!

about me

I am a painter and graphic designer living in the country on the outskirts of Levin with my novelist/fabric artist partner, Carole. Our three children fled home long ago.

After graduating in design/illustration with a BCGD (Hons) and qualifying as a teacher, I taught visual arts at both tertiary and secondary levels. I now paint full-time.

Drawing and painting, most often in watercolours, my main subjects are the features and the ‘moods’ of the environment. A passion for the outdoors results in my subject matter naturally inclining toward landscapes & seascapes.

My exhibitions are now sellout events and my works proudly hang in international collections. I welcome inquiries or commissions...just get in touch using the contact details below.
